Umelec Magazine since 1997 is the only art magazine devoted to current visual culture in the Czech Republic. It is directed to the international scene, particularly the wider European circle. Its emphasis on art in Central and Eastern Europe stems from its unique position in that region. It's published in English, Czech, Spanish, German, French, Russian and also Chinese. Personally I never heard of it till I got my hands at two issues from 2009 2 weeks ago. I really like this Magazine, especially because I don't know that much of the Czech art scene.
